A discussion of how the Liberal Party modernised social policies in Britain in the early 1900s. How did the country move from leaving the poor to fend for themselves, to forming a social welfare system? Why? How? Were the changes effective? What were the reactions?

I'm currently a university student studying History & Politics, having gained 3 A*s in my A-Levels. With a view to becoming a teacher in the future, I offer cheap and free tuition online and in person for both history and politics. I am particularly keen to teach A-Level History or Government and Politics, but other levels are also covered. English - particularly as a second language - may also available on request.
I have gained real-life teaching experience from a young age through occasional teaching in secondary schools.
